Lizzie and Joey: Daybreak Lake engagements

I had such a fun time doing these engagements for Lizzie and Joey at Oquirrh Lake in Daybreak. They both really love musical theatre and attend Southern Utah University, my alma mater. Lizzie even has the same major I had back in the day. We had fun talking about some of our shared professors. Her singles ward bishop was the department chair when I was at school and one of the few professors I still keep in touch with. They are planning a November wedding at the Bountiful Temple and reception at The Grand Ballroom.

Lizzie and Joey met at callbacks for Tarzan the musical at the Hopebox Theatre in Kaysville, Utah. He ended up getting cast as Tarzan and Lizzie starred as Jane. Lizzie said they were really awkward around each other at first, and she even thought he must be already married. They became friends and accidentally fell in love through many food runs after rehearsals and "therapy sessions" on the couch in the lobby.

From Lizzie: "I love how hardworking Joey is. He will do whatever it takes to keep us happy and comfortable. I love his sense of humor. He makes me laugh every day, even when I don't want to smile. I love how patient he is. He has had to wait for me in pretty much every way since day one, but it has never been grudgingly. He makes me feel like I'm worth waiting for."
