Sarah and Dallin: Layton Temple Wedding

It was such a beautiful day celebrating Sarah and Dallin and capturing their wedding at the Layton Utah Temple. There’s something especially meaningful about having a temple in my hometown now, and I never take for granted the opportunity to photograph weddings in such a special place.

It was also such a joy to work with this family again! I had the honor of photographing Sarah’s brother’s wedding several years ago, so getting to come back and document another important family milestone was extra special. There’s something wonderful about watching families grow and being invited back to capture these moments again and again.

I absolutely loved celebrating Sarah and Dallin’s reception at The Caledonia. It was so fun to see this beautifully remodeled venue and experience it in a whole new way.

The Caledonia also holds a special place in my heart. My sister worked there when we were in high school, and over the years, our family has celebrated many weddings and special occasions there. So being back in this space to photograph Sarah and Dallin’s reception felt especially nostalgic and meaningful. It was such a beautiful setting for the beginning of their life together.
