Tiffany and Garrett — McCune Mansion
A couple of weeks ago I had the great opportunity to attend Camilla Bink’s Light it Up workshop. Hands down this was the best and most helpful workshop I have ever been to. I had such a great time practicing my new off-camera lighting set up. Tiffany and Garrett are newlyweds and were fantastic models. They were so darling and so in love. Garrett even held my light for me a for the single shots of his bride.
The workshop was at the fabulous McCune Mansion in Salt Lake City which has long been a bucket list location of mine. I love old buildings, especially cool old houses so shooting at the McCune Mansion was a dream. The mansion was built in 1901 and is full of beautiful art and turn of the century craftsmanship. We also had dinner in the dining room which was a thrill. I felt like a guest at Downton Abbey. Camilla had a wonderful mock reception all set up including a delicious wedding cake. It was a wonderful shoot and I am so excited to incorporate more off-camera flash in the future, especially at wedding receptions. Thanks Camilla for all your lighting wisdom and a wonderful evening!
This wedding cake tasted as good as it looks.
First dance so dreamy.
