I left my heart in San Francisco

As I mentioned before I spent a couple of days in San Francisco. It was so much fun! It was a much needed excursion — I hadn’t been anywhere for awhile. It was great to getaway before the busy summer season started. I had a few days to be a tourist while Dan was at a seminar. I had fun shopping at all the fun stores in Union Square. Every major retail store had a shop downtown near our hotel. Great fun. Here is a little of what I saw on my trip.

I really enjoy old churches and stained glass windows. (I took some stained glass classes once.) So I hopped on a cable car and went to see Grace Cathedral. It was an amazing building. I think it was designed to look like the Notre Dame in Paris. Might be the closest I get to Old Parie’.

Our hotel was right by Chinatown. These people are making fortune cookies. It was so interesting to see how they are made.

I went on a cruise around the bay. So fun!
